Terms of use

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms apply to anyone who creates an account on escullme; by creating one, you accept them. Browsing escullme needs no account.

The service

escullme is a platform about animal adoption. We may add, change or remove features. We try to keep it working, but can't promise it will always be available.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Use an email address of your own, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account: you're responsible for what's done with it.

Shelters

If you create a shelter, you must be entitled to act on its behalf. We check each shelter before publishing it, and may refuse or remove one that isn't a genuine animal shelter. Adoptions are agreed directly between the shelter and the people interested: escullme isn't part of them.

What you publish

You're responsible for what you publish: it must be accurate and lawful, and you must have the rights to its texts and photos, and the permission of anyone who appears in them. It stays yours; you allow escullme to show it on the platform, free of charge, while it's published.

Acceptable use

Don't use escullme to offer animals for sale (shelters may ask for their usual adoption fees), publish false or misleading information, impersonate anyone, send spam, or try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the platform.

Removal and closing

We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms, telling you why whenever we can. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile.

Liability

escullme is offered as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for what others publish or for agreements between users and shelters.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date, and tell account holders before a significant change applies.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any question, write to contacto@escull.me.
